5. Peugeot a signé le doublé pour cette édition 2009 des 24H du Mans. La victoire revient à la voiture n°9 pilotée par Marc Gene, Alexander Wurz et David Brabham. Le podium est complété par la Peugeot n°8 de Stéphane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny et Sébastien Bourdais et l'Audi n°1 de Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen et Allan McNish. 1. La FIA a été ferme vendredi. McLaren, Renault, Brawn GP, Toyota et BMW ont jusqu'au 19 juin, dernier délai, pour renoncer à leurs conditions et rejoindre la fameuse liste. Face à la nouvelle, Ferrari, Red Bull et Toro Rosso ont refusé leurs inscriptions forcées. Aujourd'hui, la FOTA se réunira à Heathrow pour trouver une solution face à la crise que traverse actuellement la F1. Luca di Montezemelo, le président de Ferrari, soutient la FOTA et exige une révision du règlement 2010 par la FIA sinon Ferrari se retirera.
