Remarques :

1. Nick Heidfeld finit la semaine en tête du classement (1'20''052).
2. Kimi Räikkönen est second. Il a fait une excursion dans le bac à graviers. Néanmoins, la journée a été productive.
3. Lewis Hamilton apparaît dans le top 3. McLaren a travaillé sur la capacité du réservoir et sur des réglages ensuite. Vers 15h30, Lewis Hamilton a perdu le contrôle de sa MP4-24 à cause du vent. Le pilote va bien mais l'arrière de la monoplace est endommagé.
4. Mark Webber se classe en quatrième position. Il a testé les pneus 2010.
5. Kazuki Nakajima occupe la cinquième place. Il a travaillé sur l'aéro, les pneus et a préparé le début de saison.
6. Jarno Trulli ferme la marche. L'italien a testé les pneus 2010 sans les couvertures chauffantes. Ce matin, il a cassé l'aileron avant de sa monoplace après une sortie de piste.

A noter :

1. Felipe Massa pense que la FIA devrait créer un championnat des essais privés durant la saison. Le vainqueur aurait un bonus pour la championnat mondial. Il serait également favorable à la suppression des essais libres du vendredi lors des GP.
2. Mark Webber n'est pas totalement remis de sa blessure à la jambe droite.
3. Honda testera sa RA109 à Snetterton, en Grande-Bretagne. La voiture devrait être bleue et rouge.
4. La FOTA a annoncé ses nouvelles mesures pour 2009 et 2010. Le barème de points change dès cette année (12-9-7-5-4-3-2-1). Les quantités d’essence embarquées au départ, le choix des pneus et les données de ravitaillements seront connues du public. Les médias disposeront de plus de considération. Chaque GP accueillera des séances d'autographes avec les pilotes comme à Hockenheim. D'ici 2010, le format des qualifs va changer, l'attribution des points et le temps de course va être réduit.
5. Une annonce officielle sera fait logiquement lundi concernant Honda. Le team de Brackley est sauvé. Nick Fry a confirmé l'information.

3. Lewis Hamilton appears in the top 3. Today’s programme started with the controlled on-track draining of the tank to assess the effectiveness of MP4-24’s fuel collection. For the remainder of the day, the team worked on tuning the car’s set-up before the session ended prematurely at 15:30 when a sudden gust of wind swept Lewis off the track and into a tyre barrier. While the impact was only a mere 44km/h, the car went in rearwards, doing enough to dislodge the rear wing and lightly damage the car’s rear-end. With insufficient time to effect repairs before the end of the session, the team opted to finish early in order to commence preparations for next week’s four-day Barcelona test.
4. Mark Webber is fourth. He tested the 2010 tyres.
5. Kazuki Nakajima is fifth. He made set-up work, tyre and aero testing.
6. Jarno Trulli closes the walking. Toyota worked on the new Bridgestone slick tyres for 2010. Rain during the morning meant that conditions were unsuitable for running but the track dried out by 12.30pm, enabling the test to begin. Jarno Trulli was at the wheel of the TF109 as the team began collecting data for next season. The test was brought to an early close when he suffered some damage to his front wing after running over the kerbs midway through the afternoon. Toyota will next return to the track on Monday in Barcelona for its final test in preparation for the first race of 2009.

8. Felipe Massa thinks that the FIA should create a league for testing during the season. The winner would be a bonus for the world championship. It would like to cancel the practices of GP Friday.
9. Honda will test its RA109 in Snetterton (Great Britain). The car should be blue and red.
10. The FOTA announced new measures for 2009 and 2010. The scale of points changes from this year (12-9-7-5-4-3-2-1). The quantities of fuel onboard at the start, the choice of tyres and refueling data will be known by the public. The media have more consideration. Each GP will welcome autograph sessions with drivers like Hockenheim. By 2010, the qualifying format will change, the allocation of points and the race time will be reduced.
