Ce matin à 9h, les médias F1 du monde entier avaient rendez-vous au Mugello pour la présentation de la Ferrari 2009. La logique aurait voulu qu'elle soit baptisée "F2009" mais il n'en sera rien. Le Cheval Cabré célèbre cette année son soixante anniversaire en F1. Ainsi, la nouvelle monoplace se nomme "F60". Felipe Massa se chargera du shakedown dans l'après-midi. Il faudra un peu de temps à l'oeil pour s'adapter au nouvel esthétisme des F1. Aussi l'aileron avant paraît très bas et étrangement incomplet. Le nez semble interminable. L'aileron arrière fait sourire par sa largeur. L'expression "se faire raboter le derrière" prend alors tout son sens. En vue aérienne, laissez aller votre imagination et vous verrez se dessiner une lance prête à percer le coeur de ses rivales. Les courbes restent toutefois gracieuses si on efface l'aileron arrière. Au final, c'est une Ferrari dans toute sa splendeur. Une sexagénaire qui a encore énormément de charme. Mais il faudra patienter encore quelques mois pour découvrir son caractère, la saison ne débute que le 27 mars.

9 am this morning : medias had meeting in Mugello for the Ferrari 2009 launch. The Italian team celebrates its 60th birthday in F1 on this year. This car will have for name "F60" instead of "F2009". Felipe Massa will make its shakedown on this afternoon. A little of time for the eye will be needed to adapt itself to the F1's new aestheticism. So the front wing seems very low and strangely incomplete. The nose seems endless. The rear wing made smile by its width. But let go your imagination and you'll see being outlined a lance ready to drill its rivals' heart. Curves are however graceful if we erase the rear wing. Don't forget that it stay a Ferrari in all its magnificence. We'll wait even some months to discover its character, the season begins only on March 27th.
