Q&A with Nico Rosberg for the German magazine 'Focus' on today...
Q: What do you like best about yourself? That I'm modest. It isn't always easy, but all in all I think I manage it quite well.
Q: What political project would you like to see sped up? Oh man, I really don't have much to do with politics. No idea.
Q: What goads you on? Competition. Against others, against myself, no matter what.
Q: Who would you like to give a medal and why? I'd give my mum one. Because she raised me so lovingly.
Q: On which personal achievement are you especially proud? On my good graduation from school.
Q: As a child you always wanted to be like…? … my dad, the Formula 1 driver.
Q: How do you relax best? Playing soccer or backgammon.
Q: What tempts you? Two scoops of Vanilla ice cream with chocolate-filled cookies.
Q: What was your favourite impulsive purchase? Apple MacBook Air.
Q: Which song do you like to sing? 'Yellow Submarine' – The Beatles.
Q: Present us with a piece of worldly wisdom. Don't keep going stubbornly no matter what, better pause and test whether you are going into the right direction.
Q: For which painter would you pay a lot of money? None.
Q: Where would you want your second abode to be? Ibiza.
Q: What are you very good at cooking? Eggs sunny side up on toast.
Q: What would you want for your last meal? Ravioli, filled with pumpkin, in a really nice cream sauce. Lots of parmesan cheese and cloverleaf salad with that.
Q: With whom would you like to exchange life for one month? Actually with no-one. I'm really very, very happy with my life.
Q: Here you can praise three books… Richard Branson 'Losing my virginity', Lance Armstrong 'It's not about the bike'.
Q: On which show do you often get caught up when zapping? TV total (Note: German late night comedy show).
Q: Where do you always zap away? Those horrible call-in shows a la DSF.
Q: Your favourite actress? Charlize Theron.
Q: Your favourite actor? Clive Owen.
Q: Your favourite figure in history? Robin Hood.
Q: What do they say about you? That I'm very ambitious.
Q: What do you not like about yourself at all? That when I'm nervous, I start to bite the skin on my fingertips.
