2:43 pm, "Q2" mark the end of qualifying for five other drivers. It's the disappointment at BMW, Ferrari and McLaren. Robert Kubiça is classified eleventh. Giancarlo Fisichella is twelfth. Force India took away its bet. David Coulthard has to content himself with the thirteenth position. Kimi Räikkönen is fourteenth in front of Lewis Hamilton. They're in big difficulty. They dashed as the conditions were the worst. Sebastian Vettel seized the first place (1'35"837).

Pole position returns finally to Italian. The team of Faenza invites itself in the summit thanks to the talented "Bubi-Schumi" (1'37"555). Heikki Kovalainen saves the honor of "Grey" with the second time. Mark Webber is third. Sébastien Bourdais is one brilliant fourth. He's followed by Williams' hero, Nico Rosberg. Felipe Massa is sixth. The top 10 is completed by Jarno Trulli, Fernando Alonso, Timo Glock and Nick Heidfeld. Four of five German drivers engaged in the championship crossed "Q3".
