Lewis Hamilton signs pole in the last minute. Felipe Massa will accompany him on the first line tomorrow. Heikki Kovalainen completes the trio of head. Let us return at the moment on this session...
The qualifying are divided into three sessions. The first offers twenty minutes to reach "Q2". Five slower are eliminated. The second part is of fifteen minutes. Only ten drivers will reach in "Super-pole". They will have then ten minutes to take down the graal. It's 2:00 pm, the track is opened (27°C). Clouds are always present. The ambient temperature is rather fresh for July (23°C). The rate of humidity is 48 %. The wind speed is very impressive (6 m.s).
Lewis Hamilton seizes of pole position in 1'15"666 (the third of the season and ninth of his career). He outstrips Felipe Massa and Heikki Kovalainen. Jarno Trulli is one shine fourth.
