- Felipe Massa signed the best time in 1'14"989. He outstrips Jenson Button's Honda and Heikki Kovalainen's "Silver arrow".
- Jenson Button tested new "aero" updates.
- Mark Webber is classified fourth.
- Sebastian Vettel is the fifth solid.
- Fernando Alonso occupies the sixth rank.
- Kazuki Nakajima is a discreet seventh.
- Robert Kubiça is only eighth.
- Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella are good last ones.
- Drivers made simulations of start and continued their preparation for the GP of Germany.
- There were three interruptions of session. This morning, Kazuki Nakajima was forced to immobilize his FW30 on the track because of a mechanical problem. In the afternoon, Giancarlo Fisichella missed at the level of "Sachkurve". At 4:35 pm, Fernando Alonso's R28 was in the stop on the track.
To note :
- From tomorrow and until Sunday, motorsports are at the honor in Great Britain : it's the festival of Goodwood.
- This weekend, there is also of the DTM. Timo Scheider and his eighteen companions have meeting on the circuit of Zandvoort in Netherlands. This sixth sleeve of the season will be to follow on "FormuleBlonde".
- On Sunday, Nico Rosberg will be in Moscow for Roadshow.
