Remarks :

1. After his victory in France, Felipe Massa signs the best time of the day in 1'20"188. The Brazilian met a mechanical problem at the end of session.
2. Heikki Kovalainen is second in front of Robert Kubiça's BMW.
3. Kamui Kobayashi and his TF108 appears to the fourth rank. His V8 Toyota left in smoke to the bend Becketts.
4. Nico Rosberg is the fifth.
5. Mark Webber is classified sixth.
6. Nelsinho Piquet is seventh like at the GP of France. His R28 stood still on the track at 3 pm.
7. Jenson Button is eighth.
8. Tonio Liuzzi tested numerous novelties for Force India (evolutions "aéro" and mechanicals). He's ninth.
9. Sebastian Vettel is the good last one. German was handicaped by a mechanical problem.
